“Tell me , I forget .Teach me ,I remember.Involve me , I learn”. The Interact Club of AGDAV organised a plethora of competitions for classes VI to XII while the observation of  'Swachhta Pakhwada'  The day began with all the office bearers assembling in the AV room,from where all the directors were allocated inchargeship of a particular event ‌The first was an Art competition for the students of IV to VI. Director Dhairya Srivastava with his team organised this under the guidance of Mr.Shailendra. The competition was inter-class and paintings were evaluated by our school's art teachers Mrs. Shabana Begum and Mr. Shailendra. ‌Essay writing competition was conducted for VI and VII on the topic "Being green is staying clean" and "Clean and green is our perfect dream". “It’s not how much we give that matters but how much love we put into giving that matters.” – Mother Teresa We all know how great it feels to receive gifts. However, the joy of getting is short-lived. Our lives are richer when we share, and that great inner joy comes from helping others to better their lives. Truly giving from the heart fills your life with joy .As Mahatma Gandhi said, “To find yourself, lose yourself in the service of others.” Giving takes you out of yoursel f and allows you to expand beyond earthly limitations. True joy lies in the act of giving without an expectation of receiving something in return. The members of the Interact Club of the school experienced this joy today when they visited Prayas a school for the underprivileged and celebrated the Festival of Lights with them. Teachers' Appreciation

"If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers. They are society’s heroes.” Teachers have an influencing role in the life of every student. They are like beacons of light, guiding us in the formative years of our life. Teachers mould us and in the process and shape our future. What we learn from our teachers remains with us, throughout our life. However, very often, we fail to show our appreciation and gratitude for their altruistic devotion. Teachers do need encouragement and support from the community to feel that their efforts are being recognized. To serve the purpose, Interact club of AGDAV centenary  public school  felicitated the Gurus  in a special assembly on 5 September 2017 on the occasion of Teachers' Day by presenting them with flowers and cards which were not purchased from market but prepared by the interact club members.
